ICS Canada is accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). The DETC is a widely recognized and respected commission with accredited institutions in the United States, Canada, and around the world.
The independent nine-member Accrediting Commission of the DETC was established in 1955. The DETC Accrediting Commission defines, maintains, and promotes educational excellence in distance education institutions. The Commission is dedicated to fostering quality assurance, protection of the rights of the students, and institutional self-improvement through voluntary accreditation via peer evaluation. DETC offers distance learning institutions the most current, relevant, and practical services for the 21st Century.
IACET CEUs are issued by Penn Foster Career School. Penn Foster Career School is the parent company of ICS Canada. Penn Foster Career School has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1760 Old Meadow Road, Suite 500, McLean, VA 22102. In obtaining this approval, Penn Foster Career School has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is widely recognized as the standard of good practice internationally. As a result of their Authorized Provider membership status, Penn Foster Career School is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard.
ICS Canada is a Better Business Bureau accredited business with a BBB Rating of A+.
