Veterans' Week 2008

We at ICS Canada want to take this time to recognize our students and graduates who are veterans of the Canadian Forces. Originally known as Armistice Day, Remembrance Day is the international holiday which commemorates the ending of "World War I" — World War I on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. Remembrance Day, also called Veterans Day and Poppy Day in other parts of the world, honours members of the armed forces living and deceased and keeps alive the achievements and sacrifices made by those who served Canada in times of war, armed conflict, and peace. So veterans, to thank you for your commitment and sacrifice in serving our country and to honor your courage and experience, this issue of ICS Canada News is dedicated to you.
