What is one of your favorite quotes/words to live by?
“The mightiest oak in the forest was once just a little nut that held its ground.”

What are some of your interests?
I like to travel in my RV. The different campgrounds I visit allow me to experience various areas in our beautiful country and meet so many different people.

What is one thing you’d recommend your students do to be successful in their program?
Read, read, read...read everything you can get your hands on. Good books, bad books, journals, magazines – whatever. Reading will broaden your world and at the same time show you how everything is connected in some way.

What made you decide to be an educator at Penn Foster?
Actually, I had applied for a different position. The Human Resources department thought that I would be a better fit as an instructor rather than a programmer. I guess they were right!

What is one piece of advice you’d like to give students?
You only go around once. The saddest thing a person can say at the end of life's journey is “I wish I had....”
