Brian Brown, Principal for Penn Foster High School, is responsible for the day-to-day opportunities faced by the high school team and their students. Before being promoted to his current position, Brian was a high school instructor at Penn Foster for four years and worked as a teacher for a number of years before joining the Penn Foster faculty. Mr. Brown is currently working toward his master’s degree in American History. Aside from his experience as an educator, he served in the United States Army from 1984-1988.
What is one piece of advice you’d like to give students?
Move through the coursework as you feel comfortable. Do not be afraid to ask for help.
What is the most proud moment of your life?
The birth of my children, Emily and Teddy.
What are some of your interests?
I love watching football. Go Seahawks!
What is one thing you could not live without?
The one person I could not live without is my wife!
What is something your students wouldn’t otherwise know about you?
I played for the Post football team at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, which is the equivalent of a semi-pro team. In 1987, I was nominated for the East Coast Army League All-Star team as a special teams player.
