Faculty Biography

Mariam Dawoud

Teacher, High School

BS Computer Science – Dalhouise University

Mariam has earned Bachelor of Computer Science from Dalhousie University in Canada. She then earned an Oracle Database Management Associate degree from Oracle Enterprise.

In 2007, she decided to switch her career to teaching math. She went to Alvernia University in Reading, PA and earned her teacher certificate in 2009.

Her future career plans are to earn a masters degree in education, and probably add on another teaching certificate in computer science.

She’s a mother of three beautiful boys 4, 4, and 7 months. In her leisure time, she likes to paint, and read. She’s a great cook too!
