What are some of your interests and passions?
I am an avid reader with a great interest in history. I love old movies (thank you TCM) and also enjoy listening to classic blues and rock-n-roll.

What is one piece of advice you’d like to give students?
There are times when the lesson material will be difficult, or it may seem that the end is far off, but you should not give up. Remain focused on completing the program and achieving success in your goals.

What is the one thing you could not live without?
My family. They are part of everything I do.

Where is the most interesting place you’ve traveled?
Newfoundland.

What made you decide to be an educator at ICS Canada?
When I first started as an instructor over 30 years ago I did not know a great deal about ICS Canada other than what I saw in advertisements. I quickly came to appreciate the dedication of the students and the important contribution the instructors made to our students’ progress and their ultimate success. I really enjoy helping the students work towards achieving their goals.

Share something your students wouldn’t otherwise know about you.
I have a large collection of board games and regularly play with my brothers and friends.
