Vicki McLain faculty

Vicki McLain has been an instructor for Penn Foster for over 2 years. Prior to working as an educator, she practiced extensively in the field as a Veterinary Technician. Ms. McLain’s experiences include three years in a general animal practice, and 13 years in the research environment.

What are some of your interests?
I enjoy anything in the outdoors! I grow my own vegetable garden and like to hike and bird watch.

What types of volunteer experiences have you had?
I have enjoyed volunteering at a wild bird rehabilitator. I assisted with the care of hawks, owls, and various other bird species!

What is one thing you could not live without?
Chocolate!

Where is the most interesting place you’ve traveled?
I have traveled through Europe! My favorite place was Paris and specifically the Eiffel Tower—it is amazing!

What kinds of pets do you have?
I have a horse named "Snowflake," who is 30 years old! I also have a Yellow Lab, "Nala.”
